After such a big response to the announcement of Marcus Nasty’s forthcoming weekly Bassline shows, Rinse FM have scheduled an extra all day takeover.

Marcus Nasty has been a big driving force behind todays bass scene pretty much from the off, continuously supporting artists on his Rinse FM show. With segments such as Bass City to highlight talented producers and a constant stream of guest DJs, there’s not a lot of talent that slips past him unheard.

When Marcus announced last week he would be hosting a 10 week Bassline residency on his show, featuring a huge amount of the scene’s big names, people got excited.

So excited in fact, that Rinse FM have decided to give him an extra 15 hours next Saturday (Jan 28th) to showcase both Bassline and Bass music.

Marcus has really taken the opportunity and delivered with a monster lineup. With 7 of the original Bassline dons set to appear as well as 10 of the most exciting DJs within Bass music as a whole, it’s going to be a show for the history books. You can see the lineup below:

With the announcements of these shows, bass culture’s unbelievably strong start to 2017 shows no signs of quietening down. Last week Mode FM also announced they will be staging a 12 hour takeover on Feb 4th. There’s a seemingly continuous flow of wicked lineups up and down the country (including at fabric), and huge releases such as Champion’s 2010-2016 giveaway and FooR’s enormous, scene enveloping, 55 track album keep appearing.

With everyone working together the way they are right now, we can’t wait to see what’s coming next.
